TASK 5: Cell Phone Trap

It doesn't mean that the outfit has to copy the phone case, just to make sense by its side

HOW DO I SEE IT?

First of all, LOVED THIS TASK! I enjoyed so much watching it and making my outfit!

I would choose a powerful phone case to make a powerful outfit. And not a simple one that only has one colour so the outfit is plain... There are a loooot of possible phone cases so choose a cool one!

If the phone case is from a specific store or brand, try to reflect its style in your look, as the task was to make an outfit basing on that brand.

MY TRY

I chose Moschino bc its phone cases are so *.*

I pic the main colours and gave them some the "bad vibes" from the cigarettes and fashion kills in the case!

My super fave: B.E.A.T.K.A

I love the phone case she chose and how she has reflected its style in the outfit with those references to the bird in the feathers sweater and printed skirt, and also the orange of the purse which gives it a special touch.

Also I can clearly see that recognizable Gucci Style in her outfit: lady vibes, bright colours and print and textures mix.

For me the best without doubt!

My "runners-up": the_chuba and leiona_-

These two outfits are amazing! But the problem, from my point of view, is that in the first one the outfit doesn't reflect much the Gucci style, while in the second one the outfit doesn't have much cohesion with the space theme.

But I still love both of them *.*

FM-STYLE "Review": Cycle 13 - Task 3

TASK 3: Dark Times

For this task we give you not a fashion requirement but one related to the beauty and make-up world.

You have to create an outfit styling very very dark lips. Black lipstick it's preferable but if you don't have one, don't want to buy it and prefer to use your own clothes instead of doing the outfit in Starplaza, you can use the darkest shade avilable in the Beauty Parlor.

You have to make the dark lips look super cool and, as always, surprise us with an amazing outfit that goes perfectly with them.

Only rule: VERY VERY dark lips

For me that "VERY VERY dark lips" rule is really important bc it's the only requirement.

Black lips are very characteristic, they aren't the same as, for example, dark burgundy lips or dark purple lips. And they look amazing if you know how to match them!

HOW DO I SEE IT?

You can tackle this task in two different ways: you can make an unit with the lips and outfit, or you can create a strong contrast between the lips and outfit.

But the point is that if you remove the dark lips, the outfit has to be incomplete.

MY TRY

For my outfit I tried to create a harmony between dark and sweet. I got some vintage inspirations with the laced shirt, the cross earrings and silk dress.

The dark lips are necessary for this look, without them it loses strength and says nothing.

I love how the dark lips stand out over the pale skin and the minimalist look, matching as well with the nails and glasses. She looks cute and "good girl", but the lips give it power and strength.

Here the dark lips are definitely something necessary for the look to be complete. Also the casual street vibes are perfect for them!

TASK 2: Fur Elise

For the second task we are going to keep ourselves warm (sorry for the ones that are currently in summer) and wrap our dolls in fur.

There are no rules other than using at least 1 furry item so let your originality and creativity flow and surprise us with your outfit!

* The fur can be in any part of your outfit ;)

HOW DO I SEE IT?

I would personally emphasize both concepts: "own style" and "Christmas reminder". As the task gives a lot of freedom, I would create a powerful and elaborated outfit which reflects perfectly my style.

The Christmas thing is important because it is actually the "only requirement", so I would use something clear and concise so there's no doubt about it.

MY TRY

When I hear "fur" I don't think in winter, I think in party, glam and rock! A fur, for me, is a texture. That lets you play with another textures creating contrasts (sheer top, fur jacket, leather top, socks...).

I made this outfit for this concrete task, but trying to make my "outfit of the day" I ended up creating a new look with a fur, the "cute one" this time haha

Aaaaand... I read again the key words and I thought, let's experiment some more with the fur!

So now I wouldn't know which one I should choose... Maybe the last one, what do you think?

My super fave: B.E.A.T.K.A

I saw B.E.A.T.K.A.'s outfit it in her suite before seeing it in the cycle and it surprised me so much! My fave part is the matching print of the fur and bag, so interesting! And another thing I like is the flats, it's not much usual using them instead of heels, and look perfect with the socks. Amazing job!

My "runners-up": Andre1396, the_chuba and vousme.

I can clearly see Andrea's style in her outfit! Silver boots, sheer glasses and experimenting with the fur. Loving it!

In the_chuba's outfit I like the brown fur as a scarf around the arms, I think it gives a special touch to the outfit. And as I've said in "my try" part, furs give as the opportunity to mix textures, and that's something I can clearly see here! Also the hair and make-up are on point!

Finally the outfit from vousme is so elegant and the hair and make-up go perfectly with it. It's interesting the mix of the fur and skirt textures, and also the how she placed the fur!

First task is done and I have a lot of things to say about it!

TASK 1: Last Christmas

Christmas is here! 

For this first task we need you to show us what you got, what you're made of. To do so, we want you to create an outfit that describes a little your style. But, there's a requirement. You have to incorporate a Christmas reference in any way you want. That means using just christmassy colours, an ugly christmas sweater... Your choice, but it has to remind us of Christmas.

MY TRY

About my outfit, I love layering and that's something I do in most of my looks, so I had to do this here as well! Total black (and total white) looks are my faves, and it was perfect for this task because it goes perfectly with Christmas thing (red colour, bells and decoration). Also the outfit I've made would be perfect for a Christmas dinner, so everything fits!

Love the mix of textures and shapes here, how much personality it reflects and the little reminder to Christmas on those earrings, plus it is a perfect outfit for a Christmas dinner.

I like the elegance in B.E.A.T.K.A's outfit, the risk of the colours mix in leiona_-'s outfit and how cute are the outfits of ElenaGao2 and the_chuba!

I also liked a lot the outfits from strobarycake and Sweet_gal11, but didn't remind me much to Christmas.
